Push ups are an excellent ecxercise to work the chest muscles and being a compound movement it works on many muscles simultaneously. But if an individual starts doing more than 25–30 push ups in a row than it becomes more of an endurance event and does not help much beyond a certain point. Adding some form of weight or resistance really works well for me as it helps in making this exercise progressively harder. A simple way to add resistance is by using a resistance band somewhat like this. How much wider your chest eventually gets is mostly governed by genetics but yes including this in your chest routine will definitely give you good results.   I don't think increasing the size of your wrist is possible naturally but same is not the case with the forearms. Forearms can be effectively targeted with dumbbells and barbells, I mostly prefer doing my forearm workouts with dumbbells to avoid any muscle imbalances and target both muscles equally.
